            Sharing the Commitment


The Sharing the Commitment conference is on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Gulf Coast High School located at 7878 Shark Way, Naples, FL 34119.  Event check-in begins at 7:45 a.m., with the opening session starting at 8:15 a.m. Online Registration is now closed, however, you can register on-site the day of the conference. 

We’re putting together another amazing event of collaboration, advocacy, and learning for parents of children with disabilities, with an engaging keynote speaker, a wide range of informative breakout sessions, and opportunities to connect with not-for-profit agencies and plenty of chances to network with other parents.  We’ve gone paperless, so please bring your device (e.g., smart phone) as handouts will be available through QR codes at the event site.  For more information - click here

Business Leaders
This year, we have invited Collier and Lee business leaders to join us on Saturday, November 5, 2016 for the keynote speaker, Randy Lewis, the author of No Greatness without Goodness, and Founder of the NOGWOG Disability Initiative. Randy Lewis is recognized as a "visionary employment advocacy" domestically and internationally for individuals with disabilities.

The registration link for this event is on the right. Event check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. with the opening session starting at 8:15 a.m., with Randy Lewis going on at 8:30 a.m.  Community business leaders are invited to a VIP Meet & Greet with Randy from 9:30-10 a.m.

   STEAM Conference Fall 2016-2017

Have you thought about sharing your Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and/or Mathematics (STEAM) dynamic classroom activities, mini-projects, or career knowledge with others? If you have, we are inviting you to submit a proposal for the 6th annual STEAM Conference that will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Golden Gate High School.

Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members are invited to present at this innovative conference. In addition to professional development sessions for educators and administrators, the STEAM Conference will also offer sessions focused on STEAM careers for students.

ENHANCED this year!  A special STEAM Village will be available for parents and children who would like to experience several hands-on, mini STEAM projects throughout the morning. Additionally, high school academies and the entrepreneurship program will be highlighted
