We’re putting together another amazing event of collaboration, advocacy, and learning for parents of children with disabilities, with an engaging keynote speaker, a wide range of informative breakout sessions, and opportunities to connect with not-for-profit agencies and plenty of chances to network with other parents.  We’ve gone paperless, so please bring your device (e.g., smart phone) as handouts will be available through QR codes at the event site.

The keynote speaker this year is Dr. Robert Brooks, and his presentation is titled “Nurturing Hope and Resilience in Children with Special Needs”. Dr. Brooks is a clinical psychologist who has written several books on the topics of resilience, motivation, school climate, and family relationships. Breakout sessions will cover topics including Individual Education Plans, Transition from High School, Developmental Strategies for Pre-School Children, and Behavior Strategies.
